GERALD C. HARVEY received his law degree from Columbia University's school of law in 1975 where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. He holds a B.A. in history from Rutgers University where he was a Henry Rutgers Scholar. Mr. Harvey has more than thirty years experience in arbitration, as both an advocate and an arbitrator, with a special emphasis on corporate and labor arbitration, and in commercial transactions. From 1996 to 2010, he served as general counsel of Breeze-Eastern Corporation, retiring as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. Mr. Harvey has significant experience in cross-border transactions, having served as chair of the International Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and worked in Tokyo as a foreign lawyer associate of a Japanese law firm and as corporate counsel to a Japanese trading company. He is a member of the New Jersey and New York bars. Mr. Harvey is chair of the Board of Trustees of St. Philip's Academy and is a member of the Board of Governors of Rutgers University.
